The Rhythm of Continuity
What if civilizations persist not because they preserve information,
but because they regenerate shared experiences of time?
We often assume that what survives is what is remembered.
Or recorded?
But consider a festival,
a tea ceremony,
or a seasonal ritual.
None of these primarily store information.
Yet they synchronize people across generations.
Perhaps continuity is not memory.
Perhaps it has something to do with rhythm.
This makes me wonder:
What keeps continuity alive?
